In his post match press conference Reynolds bemoaned his defence yet again after seeing his side held to a fifth successive draw this time 4-4 at home to Walsall. "We must turn these draws into wins, if we had of done then 2nd place would have been wrapped up some time ago. Defensively we let ourselves down and as I have said before we have to improve", Reynolds commented.
Posh travel to Birmingham on Saturday and then conclude the season at home to Rochdale. "It's all about what we do, if we get the results we go up. Plymouth have a tough match at home to Blackpool and then travel to County who may still need something to stay up.
As the player of the season look set to be announced Lee Reynolds once again praised Khouma Babacar and said he must win the young player of the year award if not before. "He's been nothing short of sensational. 20 goals in 29 appearances and 11 assists says it all. This lad is going to the top make no question of that"
Will Babacar be Division 3 player & young player of the season
An update on Mr Posh who was seen checking in to a local rehab clinic admitting he had a drink problem. The club gave a statement saying "We give Mr Posh (Mick Jones) our full support in his battle against drink. We are all pleased he has got it all out in the open and hope that he can beat it and turn over a new page". Miss Posh who has taken over pre-match walk on duties on her own has dismissed reports that she was seen with boss Reynolds in a local McDonalds.
Good stuff Lee.
