Tonight, Tranmere Rovers will meet Borussia Dortmund in the Final of the SMFA Champions Cup at Wembley Stadium. Where Dortmund will have such stars as Lewandowski, Hummels & Gotze to call upon, Tranmere will be relying heavily on De Bruyne, Totti & Lukaku.
This match will not be the first time Managers Hirst & Walker have met, as Dave Walker was the Toon boss before PMW. 3 times Hirst & Walker met, Hirst won 2 & drew 1 (1-0, 0-0, 1-0) so no doubt Walker will be out for revenge on top of trying to win the prestigious SMFA Champions Cup!
Whatever the outcome tonight, Frank Hirst is going have to get a flight to Italy to meet up with his Ecuador squad for the World Cup along with 7 of his squad who have all made their Nation's squads, Ansaldi (Argentina), Lukaku, De Bruyne (both Belgium), Perrin (France), Totti (Italy), Oblak (Slovenia) & Silva (Portugal).
