Burton Manager Clive Short has dismissed rumours linking him with the managers post at his home town club Peterborough United. With current manager Lee Reynolds' future in doubt certain bookies has made Short the clear favourite to take over the London Road hotseat should Reynolds leave.
Short simply said "It's all speculation and I don't concern myself with speculation."
Should Short leave The Pirelli it could pave the way for local boy Stephen Beddows to take the job he has coveted for so long. With Blackburn having difficulty with the step up to division 1 it could prove to be a convenient escape for Beddows.
:) nice rumour-mongering
