Cozy Cup Update

The Leaders:

When asked if he was surprised to see Roy’s Lincoln at the top of the table after 16 games Leeds boss JV snorted… “Not at all… when you have a Barcelona youngster in the side anything is possible” JV continued… “If you look at the quality of the Derby’s team from back to front then in my opinion it is them who have surprised/overachieved the most…”

Roy claimed that his Lincoln side were going for a Division Five, Cozy Coupe Cup and Youth Champions League Treble this season and everyone’s favourite bookmakers, FrankBet have odds of 50/1 for them to achieve such a remarkable feat.

The Strugglers:

Whilst Grant at Cambridge expected to struggle it is Frank’s Tranmere, Champions of Europe who after 16 games are possibly on course for a double relegation with relegation from Division 1 and the Cozy Coupe Cup a distinct possibility, 10/1 with FrankBet!

Chesterfield have performed admirably but administrative errors with David (Delith) requiring all documents translated into Welsh and a lack of Welsh speakers in Chesterfield has meant that his side have broken the rules and currently have conceded 62 goals in 16 games as a result. Chesterfield are surely destined to get relegated!

15 Kidderminster Harriers 16 4 6 6 25 28 18 0 18
16 Blackburn Rovers 16 5 3 8 24 29 18 0 18
17 Oxford United 16 5 2 9 28 31 17 0 17 relegation to Cozy Cup 2
18 Cambridge United 16 3 7 6 20 29 16 0 16 relegation to Cozy Cup 2
19 Tranmere Rovers 16 4 4 8 19 34 16 3 13 relegation to Cozy Cup 2
20 Chesterfield 16 2 3 11 19 62 9 7 2 relegation to Cozy Cup 2

The Others:

The race for the Top 8 is quite intriguing to say the least with two big hitters Dave T’s Arsenal and Broon’s Tottenham (who have recovered marvellously) both on the cusp of those coveted Top 8 spots.

Broon said “My lads have performed perfectly. They have given their all to the white shirt and to be honest the kit man has been dead busy as those white shirts have been as muddy as PMW after he took the Newcastle players mud-wrestling last month.

York to forfeit Games 20-38:

As many of you know Mr Jens resigned from York after the Yorkists failed to get Richard III bones interned at Yorkminster as opposed to Leicester.

As a result Jens has promised to ensure that he will look after his York side in the Cozy Coupe Cup up until game 19. After which he will concede every game 1-0 regardless of the result. Meaning each team will be given +3 points at the end of the season for their game against York in the 2nd half of the season.

1 comment:

  1. Very good and a nice little competition. Does Golden Bear not want to take over the York youth team in the second half of the season. It doesn't require much maintenance and why am I wearing a backpack on my head?
