Division 2 Manager of the Year

Click 'Read More' to find out who the 279 managers voted for as the Division 2 Manager of the year...

1st Place:      Luke Bailey                        Bristol City                    61%
2nd Place:    Ted Powell                          Sheffield Wednesday    26%
3rd Place:     Tony Lennox                      Blackpool                        6%

Luke Bailey of Bristol City has done a fantastic job since taking over at Ashton Gate, after running away with the Division 3 title last season most thought this task may have been a little tougher, but once again the Red half of Bristol stormed to another title win, by such a huge margin.

In 2nd place is another manager who deserves this recognition is Red Powell of Sheffield Wednesday. In and out of the playoffs all season, The Owls put together a great run of form towards the end of the season that saw them climb comfortably into the playoffs and Ted masterminded convincing 3-1 wins over both Crystal Palace & Southampton!

Tony Lennox probably would've took a playoff place at the start of the season, but after over 40 games in the top 2, the depth of Blackpool's squad couldn't cope as they fell into the playoffs and eventually lost to Southampton. But still a great achievement from Tony, who will be hoping to succeed in Division 2 next season!
