Division 1 Manager of the Year

Click 'Read More' to find out who the 279 managers voted for as the Division 1 Manager of the year...

1st Place:      Fred Dodger                       Swansea City          55%
2nd Place:    Flip Sides                           Manchester United  15%
2nd Place:     Simo                                  Manchester City      15%

Fred is a worthy winner of this award, after just surviving a relegation scare the season before, Fred took his Swans to within touching distance of the Division 1 Title, finishing just 3 points behind eventual winners Man City. With the quality at his disposal compared to other managers in and around, this is a tremendous achievement and 1 which is well recognised by his peers (I think 1 or 2 were hoping he did the impossible).

Manchester United may have only finished 3rd in the league (their worst league position in 279 after 4 league titles & 1 2nd place finish), but winning both the Cup & Shield should satisfy the board. Expect United to be up there again next season!

In joint 2nd place is Simo of Man City, most people would argue he has the strongest squad at his disposal, but against the wits of some very strong managers he came out on top in the end.
