Can Unfancied Posh Make The Play Offs And More News On Mr and Miss Posh

It has been a while since I have posted on the blog and that was during mounting speculation that my reign at Peterborough United may come to an end. A run of 7 defeats in 8 matches had Reynolds wondering if chairman Darragh MacAnythony may dispense of his services, but Lee was thankful his chairman stayed loyal.



Darragh's loyalty has been rewarded with a run of 10 wins in the last 17 matches which has seen Posh sit nicely in 10th spot only 4 points off the play off places after a 6-2 away win at Sunderland. Posh TV caught up Reynolds soon after this fantastic win and put some questions to the Posh boss.

Posh TV- "How did you manage to turn things around after such a poor run"

Lee- "We tweaked things tactically and worked hard on the training pitch. We went to Sheffield United played very well and got the 3 points which gave the boys confidence"

Posh TV- "What did the chairman say to you went things weren't going well?"

Lee- "He is constantly in contact with me, but after the 5th defeat we had an hour meeting. He said a few things that remain confidential and I outlined what we are doing to get out of this run. He gave me his backing and support which helped greatly"

Posh TV- "Khouma Babacar has been crucial this season again with 15 goals already but who else has been a stand out performer for you"

Lee- "The loanees have been crucuial particularly Ward Prowse with 6 goals and 6 assists. Terrific young player great from dead ball situations. Kevin Kogt has been strong and a leader at the back despite only being 23. Plus Hallfredsson, great experience in midfield chipped in with some goals and assists to, does a lot of donkey work in there"

Posh TV- "Can Posh make the play offs? In a decent position with 15 games left to play"

Lee- "We can but we must remain focused game by game. There are 15 cup finals left and we must secure as many wins as possible but yes we have a chance and the players have the belief"

Posh TV- "The young lads have been involved in the Cozy Cup CL and served up a 4 star performance at Fiorentina"

Lee- "It was great to see the young lads doing so well. With the 2nd leg coming up I'm sure it will be a formality to get through but we must not take anything for granted"

Posh TV- "I believe Mr Posh will be back at Posh in the near future as rehab is going very well for him"

Lee- "Yes Mick is dealing with the issue very well and has a smile back on his face. If all continues he will be back leading the Posh out soon"

Posh TV- "Are you back dating Miss Posh or is Betty Brewer your new flame"

Lee- "Me and Miss Posh hit the rocks around the World Cup but we have kissed and made up and she is back in my life. Me and Betty got on well and something did happen but it ended very quickly...Enough said!"
