NEW MAN AT THE HELM AT COVENTRY CITY

 the club introduced the new manager Mark Deadman.

Thiago Motta to Yeovil Town!




Yeovil Town FC are today pleased to announce the signing of ITALY international Thiago Motta from Italian Giants AS Roma for £7.8m.

Thiago Motta: born 28 August 1982) is a professional footballer who played for French champions Paris Saint-Germain, Italian Giants AC Milan and AS Roma.

He spent his early Soccer Manager Career at PSG before moving to AC Milan and then onto AS Roma

With a club league attendance record of 118 Games 8 Goals and 8 Assists, he will be looking to improve on that at Yeovil FC.

Born in Brazil, Motta is also a citizen of dual nationality due to his ancestry.

Last season, Division 3 was all about Bristol City. They were the standout side in a league that was keenly contested and had attracted it's fair share of talented players. Their points total of 105 was bettered only by York City, who won Division 5 with one point more. City won the league by 19 points which is impressive by anyone's standards.

Since Season 2 West Ham and Manchester City have been two of the most consistent teams in the league recently with both teams finishing in the top 8 each season except for Season 3 when West Ham finished in a lowly 16th.

A View from the Bosses Chair

Frank Hirst & Tranmere Rovers have endured a terrible start to this league campaign and are currently sitting in 17th position in the league table with only 1 win in 6 this season and only goal difference ahead of bottom of the league. Who would have thought, after that fateful night at Wembley when Totti & co were lifting the SMFA Champions Cup trophy that they would be suffering from a case of the 'Dortmunds'!?
